So you've arrived in the UK's coolest, most vibrant, artistic and modest (!) city - Manchester!!!

 

Now what?  Well i'm afraid you have a wedding to attend so seeing the glorious sites of 'Madchester' will have to wait.

 

You should have arrived into Manchester Piccadilly. If you're in Manchester Victoria then I'm not sure how you managed it but the process is the same!  Follow signs for the Metrolink which is our yellow/grey light rail tram system.  Get on one on it's way to Bury, the last stop.  You may if you like (unlike the tube in London) talk to people - that is considered quite normal!

 

Once you arrive in Bury bus station (my childhood hangout!), either get a taxi or enjoy the delights of a Bury bus. For the Bolholt Hotel take the 480 or 481 and for the Red Hall take the 472.  Each journey shouldn't take more than 15 minutes but get your phones out to check your route so you know where to get off. If you're lost in conversation with some local about the famous Bury black pudding, forget to get off and get lost then please call 01204 88 7464 which is the Larkin Emergency Services.....
